Atlanta Festival Chamber Orchestra

The Atlanta Festival Academy proudly looks forward to the 2022-2023 season of the Atlanta Festival Chamber Orchestra!

The Atlanta Festival Chamber Orchestra (grades 5th-12th), Georgia Ekonomou, conductor

The Atlanta Festival Chamber Orchestra offers string players the opportunity to explore the rich and challenging literature of the string orchestra repertoire.  Over two 10-week periods, AFCO will rehearse in-person as Covid-19 permits.  At the end of this period, the orchestra will culminate with a weekend of rehearsals and a concert.

Participation is open to all students in the Metro Atlanta area and beyond, with rehearsals and performances in North Fulton County! Acceptance into the orchestra is by audition.

All rehearsals and concerts, unless indicated otherwise, take place at Johns Creek United Methodist Church for the 2022-2023 season.
