Violinist and Violist Yi Zhou has established a wide-ranging career spanning chamber musician, soloist, and pedagogue. Violinists from Yi’s studio have won a number of state-wide awards. Several of her students are playing as concertmaster and principal violin in Seattle’s youth orchestras of all age groups.

Yi holds a Master Degree on Viola Performance from University of Washington, studied with Prof. Melia Watras, and a Master Degree on Violin Performance from Wuhan Conservatory of Music in China, studied with Prof. Xianping Zhou. Meanwhile, she worked on Violin Pedagogy with the guidance from Prof. Yin Liang.
