Chamber Music Camp

Registration for the 2023 Chamber Music Camp Now Closed

Which Instruments? The Chamber Music Camp is open to Orchestral Strings (Violin, Viola, Cello, and Bass), and Piano students, age 10 to 23 years old

Dates: July 17 – 29, 2023

Audition / Placement Videos: Applicants must submit a recent video recording so that we can place you in an appropriate chamber ensemble. Video clip length should be about 5-7 minutes; applicants should choose two contrasting pieces. Please upload your video to YouTube, title your video with “AFA CMC 2023, YOUR NAME, YOUR INSTRUMENT”and select Unlisted when you upload it.  Two separate videos of your pieces are allowed, but no edits within those videos are permitted. 

Tuition Details:

  • Tuition for William Pu Music Academy and Atlanta Festival Chamber / Junior Orchestra students is $1,390 if paid in full from April 2 to May 15, and $1,530 if paid in full after May 15
  • Tuition for new students not requiring hotel is $1,530
  • Tuition for existing ensembles (minimum 3 students in ensemble) is $1250 per student. Video(s) of ensemble playing 2 contrasting pieces is required.
  • Tuition for students needing hotel (double occupancy with breakfast) is $3,000
  • There is a $100 non-refundable application fee for individuals, $50 non-refundable application fee for each member of existing ensembles

  • Preferred payment method is Zelle; please send to recipient Support@AtlantaFestivalAcademy.org. If asked to provide a name, please enter William Pu.
  • PayPal* is accepted. If using PayPal, please send to Amy@WPMusicAcademy.com. *Please note a 4% PayPal service charge will be added.
  • AFA offers an installment plan for the Chamber Music Camp of $500 per payment. Due dates are April 15, May 15, and June 15.

Refund Policy:

  • All registrations include a $100 non-refundable registration fee.
  • Chamber Music Camp Student: 50% refund (minus $100 registration fee) if student withdraws after June 30, 2023.
  • No refunds will be offered after July 10, 2023.

Junior Talent Development Program

Please upload your video to YouTube, title your video with “AFA JTDP 2023, YOUR NAME, YOUR INSTRUMENT”, and select Unlisted when you upload it.  Separate takes of your pieces are allowed, but no edits within those takes are permitted.

Atlanta Festival Youth Orchestras

Applications and audition videos to join either youth orchestra are accepted on a rolling basis. Click here to view full details and to apply.

Tuition: The non-refundable annual tuition for both youth orchestras is $750.00 and is due on September 1.
