The 2021-2022 Atlanta Festival Academy has THREE different programs!

Chamber Music Camp (CMC)

  • Dates: July 17 – 30, 2022
  • For String Quartet (Violin, Viola, Cello), Woodwind Quintet (Flute, Oboe, Clarinet, Bassoon, Horn), and Piano Ensemble students 10 to 23 years old
  • Daily hours: 9:00 am – 4:00 pm (no camp activities weekend of July 23 and 24)
  • Tuition for William Pu Music Academy students and Atlanta Festival Chamber Orchestra participants is $1,390 if paid in full by May 15, and $1,530 if paid after May 15 (includes private lesson, admission to all concerts and master classes, daily snacks)
  • Local tuition for new students is $1,530
  • Out-of-town tuition for students needing hotel (double occupancy with breakfast) is $3,000
  • There is a $100 non-refundable application fee
  • Applicants must submit a recent video recording along with the online registration form. Video clip length should be about 6-8 minutes; applicants may choose two contrasting pieces. Please upload your video to YouTube, title your video with “AFA CMC 2022, YOUR NAME, YOUR INSTRUMENT”and select Unlisted when you upload it.  Separate takes of your pieces are allowed, but no edits within those takes are permitted. Former AFA students don’t need to submit a recording.
  • Registration for the 2022 Chamber Music Camp is CLOSED as of June 6, 2022. Please join us on Saturday, July 30 for our 2022 Finale Concert!

Chamber Music Camp Refund Policy:

  • All registrations include a $100 non-refundable registration fee.
  • Chamber Music Camp Student: 50% refund (minus $100 registration fee) if student withdraws after June 30, 2022.
  • No refunds will be offered after July 10, 2022.

Payment Methods:

  • Payments can be made via check, PayPal, or Zelle.
  • In addition to accepting payment in full, AFA offers an installment plan for the Chamber Music Camp of $500 per payment. Due dates are April 15, May 15, and June 15.

 

Junior Talent Development Program (JTDP)

  • Dates: July 18 – 30, 2022; meets every other day
  • Violin students 6 to 10 years old, Suzuki Book 3 and higher
  • Daily hours: 9:00 am – 4:00 pm (no camp activities weekend of July 23 and 24)
  • Tuition for William Pu Music Academy students is $1,390 if paid in full by May 15, and $1,530 if paid after May 15 (includes private lesson, admission to all concerts and master classes, daily snacks)
  • Local tuition for new students is $1,530

Chamber Music Camp Registration

  • Students will receive chamber music coachings with AFA faculty, private lesson, sectional coaches, and master classes 
  • Free admission to all AFA masterclasses

Price $1,390 for WPMA & AFCO students, as well as local students who pay in full by April 20

Price $3,000 for out-of-town students needing hotel and daily lunch
